Copywriter at OPTIMI

Optimi is currently looking to hire an individual with extensive experience in copywriting to join the Marketing Team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and deadline-driven. The successful candidate will assist the business with professional writing, editing, and proofreading. REQUIREMENTS * Diploma or bachelor's degree in communications/journalism/English or related degree or diploma * Five years of copywriting experience * Ability to translate from English to Afrikaans, and vice versa * Impeccable writing, editing, and proofreading skills * Computer literate * Valid driver's licence with own vehicle DUTIES * Write copy and create content for various platforms, including marketing campaigns, social media, internal and external communications, website content, blog articles, etc. * Improve readability and clarity of all communication and marketing material * Be a custodian of the language style guide and tone of voice of the company * Proofread copy to ensure that all copy is grammatically correct * Translate English copy to Afrikaans and vice versa if required * Keep up to date with the latest copywriting trends and techniques * Participate in setting marketing plans and strategies * Ad-hoc support to management and the rest of the business The position is based in Centurion.
