Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment per technical drawings
• Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Fabricate or modify parts when required
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and compliance records
• Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure machinery reliability
• Troubleshoot PLCâ??controlled equipment (if applicable)
• Support continuous improvement by identifying mechanical and process enhancements
• Ensure full compliance with company procedures and safety regulations

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• Red Seal Millwright Trade Certificate (essential)
• 35 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing/production environment
• FMCG or Pharmaceutical experience advantageous
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Computer literate (MS Office; CMMS advantageous)
• Excellent faultâ??finding and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit, able to work in demanding environments (shift work/overtime when required)
• Advantageous: PLC troubleshooting, welding, boiler making, fabrication
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure with strong initiative and a safetyâ??focused mindset
