Breeder Department Manager

The expectation of this position is to lead and direct the Breeder department teams to provide high quality hatching eggs in line with production targets. As the Breeder Department Manager you are responsible for continuous improvement in parent stock (Meat & Layer) and grandparent (Meat) performance. You will ensure the Breeder Department farms are efficient and perform comparable to industry standards.

• College Graduate of Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Medicine
• At least 10 years work experience in a Breeder or Grand Parent farm performing managerial duties
• High level of initiative and be a self-starter
• Strong analytical skills
• Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good computer skills as this position requires working with Excel spreadsheets and data within several other computer applications.
• Physical requirements: walking and standing for long periods of Occasionally lift and or move up to 20kg.
