Description
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum: SAMTRAC or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of the following legislation & systems:
- COID Act
- OSH Act
- Basic Employment Act
- National Environmental Management Act & regulations
- ISO Standards (45001, 140001, 22000, 9001, and HACCP)
- SANS 10400 National Building Regulations
- ISO Certification experience
- Assist with the arrangement of and/or participate in QHSE meetings, EHS, and Ops Group meetings
- Schedule various meetings/trainings (teams/on-site); Follow up on implementation
- Communicate QHSE system problems reported and attend to deviations
- Assist with reviewing the permissions on the system
- Assist with the document change request procedure
- Skills Required:
- Attention to detail
- Good administration and organizational skills
- Report writing
- Ensure that proof is kept on the system
- Assist with internal trainings (QHSE system)
- Problem solving and follow-up on QHSE system deviations reported
- Draft, develop and review QHSE system documents for approval
- Research legislation and standard changes after amendments and review standard and Acts
- Obtain quotes and verify the accreditation of service providers
- Assist with and arrange/schedule internal audits on the QHSE system
- Stay updated with legislation and standards changes
