Director - FMCG

A leading player in the animal feed industry is seeking a high-level Feed Director to take full strategic and operational control across four production facilities. If youre a seasoned leader with experience in milling, feed, or FMCG manufacturingthis is your moment to lead, innovate, and make a lasting impact.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification (Finance, Engineering, Agriculture or similar)
• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience in the animal feed, milling, or FMCG environment
• Strong leadership with proven ability to manage multi-site operations
• Working knowledge of quality, ISO, and regulatory standards in the Agri-sector
• Must be based in South Africa and open to travel between plants
• Effective communicator with board-level reporting skills

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Full oversight of production, engineering, procurement, technical, finance, HR, and commercial teams
• Strategic planning and financial management, including OPEX, CAPEX, and profitability targets
• Raw material procurement and international market negotiations
• Innovation and process improvement across product and technology platforms
• Drive sustainability and R&D, including trial oversight and environmental impact reduction
• Lead stakeholder engagement: suppliers, regulatory bodies, and industry networks
• Champion diversity, succession planning, and talent development
• Ability to balance operations and strategy in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
