Information Security Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced security controls across cloud, onâ??prem, and SaaS environments
• Define security architecture standards and guide secure technology integrations
• Manage and optimise security tooling (Firewalls, WAF, SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability platforms)
• Drive automation initiatives for threat detection, incident response, and operational efficiency
• Oversee SOC collaboration, monitoring, and incident escalation
• Lead investigations, forensics, and critical incident response
• Establish vulnerability management frameworks and ensure risk remediation
• Implement identity governance and zeroâ??trust models
• Develop and deliver security awareness programmes
• Support regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, POPIA, GDPR)
• Produce executiveâ??level security dashboards, reports, and insights

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science / Cybersecurity
• Seniorâ??level certifications advantageous (CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, SCâ??series)
• 7+ years experience in cybersecurity / security engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, WAF, DLP, Vulnerability Management
  • Azure / Microsoft 365 security and cloud controls
  • Identity governance, PAM, Zero Trust
  • PowerShell / Python (automation & scripting)
• Proven experience leading incident response and security architecture initiatives
• Experience with ITSM tools and documentation best practices
