Our client, a wellâ??established organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to strengthen and mature their security posture across hybrid infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
This role is ideal for a security professional with deep technical expertise who enjoys contributing to architecture, leading security initiatives, guiding junior engineers, and ensuring alignment to global frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced security controls across cloud, onâ??prem, and SaaS environments
- Define security architecture standards and guide secure technology integrations
- Manage and optimise security tooling (Firewalls, WAF, SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability platforms)
- Drive automation initiatives for threat detection, incident response, and operational efficiency
- Oversee SOC collaboration, monitoring, and incident escalation
- Lead investigations, forensics, and critical incident response
- Establish vulnerability management frameworks and ensure risk remediation
- Implement identity governance and zeroâ??trust models
- Develop and deliver security awareness programmes
- Support regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, POPIA, GDPR)
- Produce executiveâ??level security dashboards, reports, and insights
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science / Cybersecurity
- Seniorâ??level certifications advantageous (CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, SCâ??series)
- 7+ years experience in cybersecurity / security engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Advanced knowledge of:
- SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, WAF, DLP, Vulnerability Management
- Azure / Microsoft 365 security and cloud controls
- Identity governance, PAM, Zero Trust
- PowerShell / Python (automation & scripting)
- Proven experience leading incident response and security architecture initiatives
- Experience with ITSM tools and documentation best practices

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Role Purpose
Oversee the
companys financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on
accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and
reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
accurate and timely general ledger reconciliations per entity
Resolve outstanding financial items and discrepancies
promptly
Conduct
month-end reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, petty cash)
Manage debt
collection, credit control, and petty cash
Process accruals and daily financial transactions (invoices,
credit notes, bank entries)
Handle statutory submissions and reconciliations (PAYE, UIF,
SDL)
Maintain proper daily filing and financial records
Carry out
general bookkeeping duties as required
Comply with
company policies, management instructions, and confidentiality requirements
To comply
with all instructions given to him/her by the board of directors of the company
and/or its nominee
To devote the whole of his/her time and attention to the
performance of his/her duties under this agreement, provided that he/she shall
