Depot Financial Manager Location: Midrand, .

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in line with accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts, review general ledger entries, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate trial balances.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and budget tracking processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Manage and coordinate the depot finance team.
• Oversee cash handling, banking, and reconciliations.
• Monitor stock movements and conduct physical stock verifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities in line with group timelines.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Handle direct and indirect tax matters, including submissions and compliance.
• Stay informed on changes in accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by senior finance leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of IFRS or other international accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Multilingual proficiency is advantageous.
