Financial Accountant

A well-established business, based on the East Rand, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who is ready to step into a fast-paced operational environment and manage the full accounting function with confidence and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full accounting function, including processing, reconciliations, the month-end, and reporting
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Manage creditors, debtors, cashbook, and fixed assets
• Support operational finance and work closely with logistics teams
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Accounting Degree (completed)
• Completed articles
• Experience in the logistics / transport industry beneficial
• Strong Excel and accounting system skills
• Hands-on, accurate, and deadline-driven
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
