Job & Company Description:
A well-established and expanding company in the logistics and transport sector is looking for a driven and detail-focused Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in JHB East.


This role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for core accounting functions, ensure precise financial reporting, and provide valuable financial support to operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
It is ideal for a qualified professional with a BCom and completed articles who is ready to leverage strong technical expertise within a progressive, performance-driven business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and month-end reporting
• Management of budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow activities
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls
• Providing accurate financial support and insights to operational teams
• Assisting with audits and driving continuous process improvements

Job Experience & Qualifications:

• BCom degree with completed articles (essential)
• Solid accounting and financial reporting capability
• Exposure to the logistics or transport industry advantageous
• Strong analytical skills, well organised, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
