- Take full responsibility for allocated client portfolios
- Compile Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS / IFRS for SMEs
- Prepare and review Provisional and Income Tax calculations
- Reconcile input and output VAT to monthly trial balances
- Conduct detailed reviews of work completed by team members
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to trainee accountants
- Ensure all monthly deadlines are met timeously
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and high-quality financial reporting
- Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify and resolve accounting and compliance discrepancies
- Matric with exemption
- Proven management experience or experience supervising and leading a team
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
- Experience with CaseWare or Draftworx
- Strong knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
- Solid VAT and Income Tax knowledge
- MS Office proficiency
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
