Description
Minimum requirements:
Consultant: RJ Jeftha - Dante Personnel Greenstone
- In-depth knowledge of SARB Exchange Control
- Regulations, rulings, circulars and interpretations
- Experience interpreting and applying Exchange Control rules to client transactions
- Ability to prepare, submit and track SARB applications through authorised banking partners
- Strong advisory skills to guide clients and internal teams on complex Exchange Control queries
- Experience liaising with bank Exchange Control desks to resolve discrepancies
- Proven ability to design and deliver internal regulatory training
- Strong process documentation and SOP development skills
- Ability to identify gaps, risks and control weaknesses in Exchange Control processes
- Excellent reporting, audit trail and compliance administration capabilities
- Strong communication skills for simplifying complex regulations verbally and in writing
- High attention to detail with a process-driven, accuracy-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain resilient under pressure and maintain professionalism with clients and stakeholders
