Sales Assistant - Biltong Republic Stellenbosch CBD

BILTONG REPUBLIC - CHECKERS CENTRE STELLENBOSCH

We are looking for a vibrant, customer orientated sales assistant to join our team.

You will be responsible for optimizing sales, upselling our wide range of biltong, nuts and gift section, and general management of the store. You therefor require retail sales experience of at least 2 years.

Your duties will include (but is not limited to):

- Operating the scale, till and cashup

- Managing stock, including stockrotation, stocktake and stock balancing

- Hygiene within the store is of utmost importance, so a clean and organised environment will be required.

Working Hours:

- You will work the hours as specified by the landlord. Currently its from 09:00 till 19:00.

- You however will only work 17 days per month - which includes 2 off weekends.

Transport:

- It is important that you have reliable transport to and from work, as public transport is not always available.

Additional requirements:

- You need to be able to stand on your feet for long periods of times, so a healthy disposition is required.

- You also need to be a non-smoker.
