EXTERNAL SALES REP DUTIES
An external sales representative, is a skilled professional who builds customer relationships, follows up on leads, and maximizes sales opportunities. Their main duties include traveling to assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and telling clients about new products, updates and features. They present sales proposals, inform customers of product benefits and features, and negotiate prices. External sales representatives should be motivated, outgoing and confident, and have strong communication skills.
