Location: Port ElizabethSalary: R23 000 to R29 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualificationQualifications / Requirements:Qualified Trade Tested BoilermakerMinimum of 5 years’ post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environmentGeneral machining experience as well as CNC, pneumatic / hydraulic maintenance experience is essentialMust be prepared to work shifts, stand-by and/or overtime at short noticeMust have own reliable transportWelding experience will be advantageousMust be prepared to complete an assessment and interviewKey Performance Areas:Conduct facility repairs and manufacturing of new equipmentConduct breakdown maintenance, complete proactive maintenance / maintain plant and machineryAssist with installation and commissioning of new equipmentPerform planned maintenance tasks on mechanical equipmentAdhere to industry environmental, safety and OHSA standardsFault find / test and evaluate equipment for irregularities then repair the sameInvestigate problem areas by reading and working from mechanical drawingsPerform machining operations relevant to associated maintenance or repairsPerform safety installations and complianceEfficiently utilize the planned maintenance system with reference to the maintenance schedules and shutdown maintenance schedulesAdhere to both industry quality standards and the requirements of ISO 9001Where appropriate, oversee work of contractors on site

We are looking for a hard-working individual who is
not scared to think outside of the box and who is energetic and gets excited to
resolve problems. The ideal candidate will have experience in basic electrical,
basic plumbing, wet works (building, plastering), shopfitting, tiling, waterproofing,
roofing, painting and general maintenance items. Experience in the

Can weld cutting edges (tig or arc)
preferably both.
Must have automotive experience
Works well under pressure
