MAINTENANCE FOREMAN (Durban - Pinetown) Purpose of the Job:One of the largest manufacturing companies in their sector within SA are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor/Foreman to lead the department.Required QualificationsDiploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical EngineeringMechanical trade test - ESSENTIAL Technical Competencies & Experience:Min 8 years’ mechanical experience in a fast-paced production environmentMin 2 years’ experience in a supervisory roleOversee the purchasing on allocated commoditiesEnsuring availability of equipmentScheduling & overseeing all planned & unplanned maintenance of equipmentSupervision of all technical staff – job cards; work performance; labour relations & open communication channels; after hour call outsImplement world class manufacturing principles - 20 keys/lean manufacturingRoot causes analysis & implement continuous improvement Behavioural Competencies:Excellent communication skills – verbal & writtenExcellent planning, coordination & time management skillsInterpersonal skillsAbility to apply expertise & knowledgeCritical thinking abilityAction orientatedAbility to multi- task Remuneration:Market-related
