A Boilermaker/Welder

JOB TITLE WELDER / BOILERMAKER BASED AT ZWARTEBOSCH QUARRY (HUMANSDORP) REPORTS TO SITEMANAGER JOB PURPOSE SupaCrush are currently seekingexperienced Welder/Boilermaker to work on our Zwartebosch (Humansdorp)site. Salary: Negotiable Availability: Immediately Minimum Requirements: Must be a male age (25 – 40 years).2. Communicateverbally and in writing in English and Afrikaans.3. Must have own transport with drivers’ license (Code 8 or Code 10).4. Must have a Grade 12.5. Ability to work long hours if required, and work out of town from time to time(PE/Port Alfred)6. Ability to meet strict deadlines. 7. Ability to work under pressure. 8. Ability to work with minimum supervision.9. Min 3-5 years’ experience in general workshopfabrication, Mig, Tig, Co2, Stainlesteel, Aluminium Welding10. Abilityto use all hand tools (i.e., grinder, cutting torch etc).11. Trade Test Qualification as a Welder/Boilermakerwill be an advantage. 12. Have Clear criminal record (Criminal Checkwill be conducted). 13. Must be Medically fit (Medical examinationwill be conducted). 14. Preference will be given to those comingfrom Quarry or Construction industry. The candidate’s employment basewill be Zwartebosch Quarry thereby no allowances i.e., Travelling, LOA,Accommodation allowances will be payable. Working hours will be accordanceto days and hours as operational required, which is generally from Monday toSaturday, Mon - Fri 7:00 – 17:00 and Saturday’s 7:00 and 14:00. However, workoutside of these days and hours will be mandatory should there be anoperational need.
