WELDER / BOILERMAKER (temp contact position)Our Client is seeking an experienced Welder/Boilermaker to work on their Zwartebosch (Humansdorp) site.Minimum Requirements: Must have own transport with drivers’ license (Code 8 or Code 10).Must have a Grade 12.Ability to work long hours if required, and work out of town from time to time (PE/Port Alfred)Ability to meet strict deadlines.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Min 3-5 years’ experience in general workshop fabrication, Mig, Tig, Co2, Stainless steel, Aluminium WeldingAbility to use all hand tools (i.e., grinder, cutting torch etc).Trade Test Qualification as a Welder/Boilermaker will be an advantage.Have a Clear criminal record (Criminal Check will be conducted).Preference will be given to those coming from Quarry or Construction industry.Responsibility:The candidate’s employment base will be Zwartebosch Quarry thereby no allowances i.e., Travelling, LOA, Accommodation allowances will be payable.Working hours will be in accordance to days and hours as operational required, which is generally from Monday to Saturday, Mon - Fri 7:00 – 17:00 and Saturday’s 7:00 and 14:00.
