Marketing and Fundraising Officer

Location: Port ElizabethSalary: R20 000 per month CTC commensurate with experience and qualification + possible incentive Working hours: Monday to Friday (8 hours per day) and flexible to accommodate evening and weekend events Qualifications / Requirements:Tertiary qualificationMinimum of 5 years working experience, in a similar roleValid drivers licensePrevious fundraising experience, with preference in the education environmentExperience of managing events, coupled with exceptional organizational skillsStrong administration skills and attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal and written English skillsAbility to write professional proposals and reportsConfident with a professional manner and strong work ethics and integrityA positive, “can-do” attitude essential Key Performance Areas:Cultivate relationships and raise funds for capital developmentsGrow the institute network, worldwideManage the database, donations details and administration pertaining to thisDevelop and implement strategic fundraising campaigns and projectsWriting funding proposals for potential donorsManage fundraising projectsSource memorabilia and manage salesOrganize events and maintain a calendar of events and initiativesCommunicate with stakeholders in a professional mannerDrive the Celebrations Committee
