Description
* Daily monitoring of technical calls on the monitoring system * Ensure that calls receive urgent attention * Prioritise all escalated calls and take the necessary actions * Achieve timeous resolution to problems * Escalate calls to the Technical Support Manager / National Operations Manager for assistance in resolving problems * Ensure corrective action is taken in response to any unacceptable individual / team performance that is identified * Operating manuals – technical and merchants * Provide input into operating manuals, and communications and support procedures * Monitor stock, usage, and deliveries * Ensure that orders are placed with suppliers timeously * Consider supplier lead times, minimum order quantities and cost efficiencies * Manage deliveries to clients nationally * Keep up to date and accurate records of all orders, receipts, and deliveries * Monitor all calls / emails daily notifying the Technical Service Providers of communications failures at client sites * Monitor the Hourly Communications and Comms Exceptions report * Follow up with Service Providers to ensure that the cause of the communications failures is identified and re-established timeously * Notify the Operations and Service Departments of issues related to communications failures that they need to be aware * Provide feedback to KAMs on all communications calls that were escalated that required urgent attention * Spares and consumables - keep up to date and accurate records of spares, orders, receipts, and deliveries * Monitor the issuing of stock for Technicians * Ensure that the correct spares are in the correct quantities and issued on time * Compile client technical history reports for analysis * Analyse these reports, and investigate incidents / trends providing explanations * Draw up monthly billing requisitions against clients for orders and technical calls * Compile reports and provide analysis on activities and trends in the field * Review S/I and S/O reports received daily * Matric * Logistics / Supply Chain Diploma / Degree advantageous * Computer literate * Analytical * Problem-solving skills * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Good report-writing skills * Good record keeping skills * Able to prioritise tasks * Able to manage time effectively * Understanding of SLAs * Self-motivated * Attention to detail * Matric * Logistics / Supply Chain Diploma / Degree advantageous * Computer literate * Analytical * Problem-solving skills * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Good report-writing skills * Good record keeping skills * Able to prioritise tasks * Able to manage time effectively * Understanding of SLAs * Self-motivated * Attention to detail
