Graphic Designer

Our Client in the Textile industry has a position available for a Graphic Designer in their company, based in Port Elizabeth / Gqeberha.The role is to cover the in- house design solution using a mix of creative skills across both traditional and online channels.A detailed understanding and experience of using current design programs is essential. Requirements:Grade 12.4 to 5 years of experience as a graphic designer is a must.Diploma in Graphic Design or higher.Proven competency in Adobe Suite (photoshop, illustrator and in design, etc.)Computer literacy: Excel, Microsoft Word and Emails.Drivers Licence.Excellent communication skills i.e. verbal and written skills.Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize.Ability to interact with internal and external customers.Time management and organizational skills.Photo Editing will serve as an advantage.All applicants to submit Portfolio of their previous work. Key Responsibilities:As part of the Marketing team, the successful applicant will play a key role in the development and execution of long-term strategy and ideas for the brands.Translate concepts into variable design concepts.Research and keep abreast of emerging design trends and practices.Design promotional and event collateral for print, web, social media and retail graphics.Co-ordinate production ad timelines of print jobs with internal and external partners to meet overall deadlines.Improve and create graphics for web design and other related projects.Assist with content creation, and photo shoots that normally takes places within the Country.
