Joburg Zoo has plenty of suitable venues available to cater for various occasions, whether hosting corporate meetings, conferences, team buildings or private parties. Venues are:

Delta Park- A lovely pair of giant eagle owls graces the trees of delta park on a site that once was sewage plant. The park features a dam, wild bird sanctuary and hide, and scout training grounds. The park is a flat with rolling vistas, and lends itself to groups of to 1 000 people

Kloofendal Nature reserve-is a cultural heritage and ecotourism facility in the Roodepoort suburb of Kloofendal. The 150ha park was one of the first nature reserves in Joburg and offers urbanites a retreat from city life. The area has a high conservation value, with the natural environment representing a transition zone between the bankenveld, Drakensberg and savanna ecosystem.

The Wilds- This 16ha nature reserve on the outskirts of Houghton is set against lovely koppies with well-developed indigenous gardens. Paths ramble across the hillsides with views of the city from various sides, mixing urban life with local vegetation

AngloGold Ashanti- offers a stylish boardroom in a distinctively colonial setting that targets corporate and organizations requiring a fully functional venue to host corporate meetings, Conferences and corporate workshops.The boardroom seats up to 50 delegates and has a lovely wooden deck overlooking the brown and white lions.

Old Elephant house- is a superb old stone building that holds the memories of the Johannesburg zoo’s ancient elephants The venue offers both and indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, with a gazebo for wedding vows The setting is park-like and peaceful. The Ideal wedding or party venue.

The Bandstand- This unique venue offers an old style raised bandstand and surround lawn that offers seating for 2 000-3 000 visitors

The Tree of Light- the area is a beautiful outdoor venue with lush lawn and shade trees.

Anglo Lapa- the area is a stunning venue that offers breathtaking views of the lion enclosure.

Johannesburg Botanical Garden- the jewel of the city of Johannesburg, located adjacent to the Emmarentia dam. This lovely park features landscaped rose gardens, water fountains, paths and concert venue.at over 80 hectares, the park can easily accommodate both large and small events.

Zoo Lake- lake is a favourite of Joburg residents and is the venue for annual jazz on the lake and carols by candlelight events. It is also the monthly venue for the artist under the sun open air art exhibition. It also boasts the coronation fountain, a Johannesburg heritage symbol.
