Construction Electricians needed for dynamic Port Elizabeth based business.
One of your core duties is to facilitate the electrical installation process by reading drawings and implementing electrical designs. You will be responsible for managing a team of staff, and ensuring the necessary material and/or equipment is available for the duration of the construction phase. You will be responsible for carrying out the inspection of installation work and ensuring a high standard of workmanship, as well as maintaining and understanding construction programs and sequencing of work.
Reviewing construction drawings and technical diagrams
Overseeing the installation and maintenance of wiring, control, and lighting systems
Carrying out inspections on electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
Training and directing workers to install, maintain, and/or repair electrical wiring equipment
Installing electrical apparatus, equipment, and fixtures
Troubleshooting electrical issues with the appropriate utilization of relevant testing devices
Complying strictly with National Electrical Code state and local building regulations
Relevant Trade Test, Wireman's Licence would be advantageous but not necessary, and at least 2 to 3 years of practical experience as an Electrician in a construction industry will secure. CVs with contactable references to (Email Address Removed) before
