Government Certified Mechanical / Plant Engineer

*Reference: CET003658-MO-1* A well established Fast Moving Consumer Goods company in the East Rand is looking for a Government Certified Mechanical Engineer ( GMR 2.7a *Duties:* * Oversee the 24-hour manufacturing plant's electrical and mechanical needs * Designing and implementing equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability * Investigating and testing ideas to improve existing systems or to overcome machinery problems * Making parts, installing, and testing machinery * Carrying out maintenance and identifying and repairing faults in equipment * Solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customers * Planning and designing new production processes * Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems   *Skills:* * Knowledge of engineering science and technology * Design skills and knowledge * Ability to work well with your hands * Ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools * Excellent attention to detail * Problem-solving skills * Practical skills for repairing and maintaining equipment * Ability to deal with stressful situations in a fast-paced environment   *Requirements:* Must have 15 to 20 years related experience Government Certified Mechanical Engineer (GCC) R
