Client in the Pinetown area is looking for a dyanamic candidate to fill the above position. We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to execute the complete hardware development lifecycle. The goal is to create scalable and optimized hardware designs for electronic products.
* Design, develop, test, and debug hardware.
* Create Specifications and Test documents.
* Review designs.
* Analyse and enhance efficiency and stability of designs.
* Integrate and validate new product designs.
* Provide postproduction support for improvements and changes to products.
* Interface with various development teams on projects.
* Assist Validation Test Department during product testing.
* Version control of hardware.
* Schematic and PCB design using Altium Designer
* B-Tech or BSc degree in Electronic Engineering.
* Working experience in hardware design and development.
* Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on electronic products.
* Experience in low power and RF designs.
* Familiarity with configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
* Reading Electronic schematics and data sheets for components.
* Strong documentation and writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a product design team.
* Attention to detail.
* 5-10 years’ experience in a Hardware Development role.
