My client, a national concern who provides support services to the construction industry, is seeking to employ a Structural Engineer at their Bellville branch. The ideal candidate will have a relevant Engineering degree and be registered as a Professional Structural Engineer (Pr. Eng)
*Responsibilities:*
* Structural designs and drawings for industrial, commercial and health infrastructure buildings.
* Leading a design team and liaising with other professional team members and contractors.
* Attending project meetings.
* Performing facility conditional assessments.
* Compilation of tenders, RFQ’s and proposals.
* Coaching and mentoring of junior staff
* Conducting technical reviews to ensure that designs are in accordance with project requirements.
*Qualifications & Experience:*
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering
* Registration as a professional engineer (Pr. Eng.)
* At least 5 years post registration experience within the Built Environment
