Electrical Technician (Servicing Clients Industry

Our client, a well-known and big Boiler Manufacurer, has this vacancy.   Reporting to the Area Service Manager, the primary purpose of this position will be the hands-on servicing and commissioning of boilers, i.e. Heavy and Light Fuel Oil, Gas, Coal and Electrically powered boilers. The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator, willing to travel regularly (local and abroad) and willing to work all hours. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED • Trade Certificate (Millwright/Electrical, Instrumentation or electronics) • Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering will be advantageous • An unendorsed drivers’ licence • Project Management will be advantageous EXPERIENCE • A minimum of five years electrical experience in an after-sales-service environment also covering the following fields: Mechanical fitting, Electronics, PLC controls, Maintenance, fault finding and Instrumentation • Drawing up of wiring diagrams for PLC’s • Boiler servicing and commissioning will be advantageous • Sales and Marketing • Computer literacy-MS Office, Email’s and internet • Panel Building, design and layout of electrical panels
