Junior Graphic Artist/ Designer

A position exists within a sports clothing manufacturing operation for a young hard-working working qualified graphic artist to manage all of the pre and post-art functions of the production

The position would entail conceptualising designs for clients and all aspects of the set-up of this for final production. Working with both sublimation printing, screen printing and transfer decal processes.

The ability to plan and work as a strong part of a team while overseeing and signing off on quality aspects of production.

Working to meet deadlines would be vital as well as strong attention to detail.

Requirements

1. Matric and graphic design qualification

2. ability to work on PC with related design programs -Illustrator and Photoshop

3. Strong communication skills in English- must be able to work from a written document so comprehension and understanding of the English language would be ideal.

4. Must be able to meet deadlines.

5. Logo redraw skills should be very good and your attention to detail spot on.

6. An interest in cycling or sport is necessary.

7. Past experience in sublimation printing, colour matching and the setup of artwork for print would be beneficial.

8. An overall professional attitude to time management and being able to work independently or as part of a team.
