Brand Manager (Hospitality)

A very edgy reasonable cost, fast growing brand of overnight 1-2 night stay accommodation. Locations across all major travel routes in SA and Southern Africa. This role will be JHB based but monthly travel across South Africa to units will be required. (Perhaps more travel required initially)Job DescriptionBrand Manager Job DescriptionJob Summary:Responsible for developing the marketing strategy for our target market, managing marketing budgets and the calendar, and as the ‘brand guardian’, responsible for maintaining brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications.Key Responsibilities:Develop brand strategy, including brand guidelines and the vision and value propositionPlan and execute all communications and media actions across all channels, including online and social mediaResponsible for all brand activation activities including content creationCreate and manage promotional calendar, all collateral and signage to maintain the brandBuild the annual business plan and budgets to reflect brand positioningManage the budget for advertising and promotional itemsMedia and agency management and quality assurance for brand across all channelsManage all PR for brand.Analysis of competitor and customer insights, including price surveys to develop new business opportunitiesRepresentation on Industry bodiesQualificationsEducated to degree level. (Business/Marketing related degree preferable). Must have held a brand management position. Marketing and tourism qualification is an advantage.
