This role supports the rollout, configuration and day-to-day technical operation of a Cloud-based Point-of-Sale (POS) solution for hospitality businesses, including sit down restaurants, Take Away and Bars. The successful candidate will assist with system implementation, hardware setup, training, and customer support, helping ensure stable deployments and a positive customer experience.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCloud POS ImplementationAssist with onboarding new customers onto the Cloud POS platform· Support configuration of:o Web-based back-office modules (stock, recipes, sales products)o Android & iOS POS terminals (ordering, payments, transfers, voids)o Help prepare and validate systems before go-liveHardware & Infrastructure Support· Assist with setup and basic troubleshooting of:o Android tablets, iOS tablets, all-in-one POS devices, credit card terminals.o POS peripherals (printers, cash drawers, network switches, scanners etc.)Integrations Support· Assist with setup and validation of:o Card payment providerso Online ordering platformso Perform basic testing and escalate integration issues clearly and accuratelyTraining & Customer Support· Assist with customer training for:o Front-of-house POS usageo Manager back-office operationso Provide telephonic and remote support for day-to-day operational issueso Participate in onsite support and implementationsProduct & Team Growth Support· Capture customer feedback and recurring issues· Assist with user acceptance testing and validation of new features· Contribute to training material and basic documentationDesired Experience & Qualification· Matric· Diploma or degree in IT: Information Systems, or a related field· Previous experience in hospitality systems / technical support / POS / Hardware setup and troubleshooting· Strong knowledge of Android & iOS operating systems· Conceptual understanding of reports and operational data· Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset· Will be required to travel for onsite implementations and support - own car essential· Flexibility to assist after hours during go-lives or critical issuesJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personPlease apply online at https://wkf.ms/48kse0D
