This refurbished lathe is a near 100% copy of the famous Myford
but Taiwanese made. It is the long bed version, on raising blocks, with hardened and ground ways.
The Norton type gearbox is fitted and general operation is essentially as one
would a Myford.
Eight headstock speeds are available, 4 direct and 4 via the
backgear. Speed changing and stopping the chuck are achieved by means of a
quick belt tension relief system. The headstock is fitted with roller bearings
instead of the Myford bush/bearing combo. The bearings can be greased as
required.
The lathe is fitted with a 230V 0,37kW motor, continuous operation.
The motor is fed via an on/off and reversing switch setup.
The steel stand is exceptionally solid and offers ample
storage space.
A three jaw chuck, with both sets of jaws and key, are
included. The backplate must be machined in position to match the chuck. A thread
pitch dial, dead centre, live centre and tailstock chuck are also included. A number of quality, mostly German, drill bits cutting tools
and live centre are also included. A Myford booklet is available in .pdf.

ROCKWELL DELTA RADIAL ARM SAW: COMPACT WORKSHOP IN ONEThis USA made radial arm saw is known to be the best in its
class. The motor is wired for 230V but can be changed over to 115V. It develops over
2 horsepower and features a double spindle motor. On the blade side dado blades
(included) can be fitted and on both side accessories such as a sanding drum or
shaper cutter adapter. A buffing wheel and similar can also be used on the
shaper adapter. Two sanding drums are supplied, 45 and 76 mm in diameter. There is also a 200
mm sanding disk with two sanding sheets. Three 3 lip cutters are included, as well as a cutter
guard for the molding operation. These brand new accessories make this machine a versatile,
compact workshop in one. The overarm can be raised/lowered and swivelled, while the
motor can tilt and rotate through 90°. These adjustments facilitate cross and mitre
cutting, ripping and thus also compound cuts. These operations, and many other jigs
and tricks, plus using the accessories, are all detailed in the original 122
page Rockwell Delta book “Getting the
most out of your radial arm saw” (included, not shown).The machine is in as new condition, on the stand as shown,
as well as used 250 and 200 mm blades and a brand new 40 tooth TCT blade. A
blade nut spanner, table clamps, user manual and parts list are included. A set
of spacers is also included. These allow two blades to be spaced for twin
slotting operations, as well as spacers when using the dado blades for trench
cutting. Special levelling screws and nuts allow for the exact levelling
to ensure perfect stability. These must be adjusted before the other
adjustments, as per the manual, are carried out.The dust chute on the blade guard can be connected to a dust
extractor to minimise dust in your workshop.
