The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction sites, supervising teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.Minimum requirementsMinimum 15 years’ experience as a Site Foreman in the construction industry.Extensive experience in residential, commercial, and/or civil construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and project coordination.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.Valid driver’s licence.Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities effectively.Key responsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily site operations.Manage site labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.Monitor project progress and maintain construction schedules.Enforce health and safety compliance on site.Conduct quality control inspections and resolve site-related issues.Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.Maintain accurate site records, reports, and material control.Ensure efficient use of labour, equipment, and resources.Skills and attributesStrong organisational and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead by example and motivate site teams.Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Reliable, disciplined, and deadline-driven.Application processInterested candidates should submit the following:Comprehensive CVContactable referencesCopies of qualifications (if applicable)Copy of valid driver’s licenceEmail applications to: accounts@couruconstruction.co.zaClosing Date: 31 August 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
