The Opportunities:
These are hands-on, leadership roles where you will be
responsible for the daily operations, staff management, and commercial
performance of your designated department. You will play a key role in
maintaining our client's high standards for product quality, customer service,
hygiene, and profitability.
Minimum Requirements for All Roles:
· Proven experience in a similar management or supervisory
role within a retail environment (specific years of experience for each role to
be assessed during screening).
· Strong staff leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent product knowledge relevant to the department
(butchery, bakery, produce, etc.).
· Understanding of retail operations, stock management, and
GP principles.
· A results-driven attitude with a focus on customers and
targets.
· Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and
public holidays.
· For Managerial Roles: Demonstrated ability to calculate
GP, manage budgets, and drive department profitability is essential.
· Must be willing and able to work in the specified
suburb/location. Relocation to Cape Town is required if not currently based
here.
