Firstly Permeate Flow for Individual Elements may vary ± 20%. While in storage, membrane elements must be kept sealed and moist. Consequently drying out may occur and damage the membrane permanently. Unless you must prevent elements from freezing or being exposed to direct sunlight. We tested elements are vacuum-sealed in a polyethylene oxygen barrier bag containing. Vontron RO Membrane 3012 300 GPD Preservative and then packaged in a cardboard box.
Discard the permeate for the first twenty-four hours of operation. Do not use the first full tank of permeate for drinking or food preparation. The permeate flow (product water flow) varies with feed water temperature. Review a Temperature Correction Chart. For membrane warranty information, please contact the manufacturer.

Scaling, corrosion, microbiological activity and disposal of residual wastewater. Scaling occurs when the chemistry and temperature conditions are such that the dissolved mineral salts in the water are caused to precipitate and form solid deposits.
There are a large number of chemicals which can be used as antiscalants and dispersants to improve the operation of RO and nano filtration (NF) systems. Antiscalants are a family of chemicals designed to inhibit the formation and precipitation of crystallized mineral salts that form scale. Most antiscalants are proprietary organic man-made polymers (e.g., polyacrylic acids, carboxylic acids, polymaleic acids, organ ophosphates, poly phosphates, phosphonates, anionic polymers, etc.). The molecular weight of these polymers can range from 2000 to 10,000 Da.Antiscalant technology for RO systems was initially derived from chemistries used in cooling water and boiler water applications. Firstly Sodium Hypo chlorite – 25l (12-15%) 25 . A 12% solution is widely used in waterworks for the chlorination of water. A 15% solution is more commonly used for disinfection of waste water in treatment plants.
Sodium hypochlorite is widely used in various applications. It is used on a large scale for water and surface purification, bleaching, odor removal, and water disinfection. Sodium hypochlorite is light yellow with a strong bleach odor. Sodium hypochlorite is a chemical that is produced through the mixing of caustic soda, liquid chlorine and water.
The anhydrous compound is unstable and may decompose explosively. Sodium Hypochlorite – 25l in solution exhibits broad-spectrum anti-microbial activity and is widely used in healthcare facilities in a variety of settings. It is usually diluted in water depending on its intended use. “Strong chlorine solution” is a 0.5% solution of hypochlorite (containing approximately 5000 ppm free chlorine) used for disinfecting areas contaminated with body fluids, including large blood spills.Finally it may be made by diluting household bleach as appropriate (normally 1 part bleach to 9 parts water). Such solutions have been demonstrated to inactivate both C. difficile and HPV. “Weak chlorine solution” is a 0.05% solution of hypochlorite used for washing hands, but is normally prepared with calcium hypochlorite granules.
