Job PurposeThe Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving sales growth, distribution, and brand presence of the brand across on-consumption (HORECA, cafés, restaurants, hotels, bars, gyms, offices) and off-consumption (retail stores, forecourts, wholesalers, convenience stores) channels within Gauteng Region (Johannesburg & Pretoria).Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentIdentify, prospect, and secure new customers across on-consumption and off-consumption channelsGrow volume, revenue, and distribution in line with monthly and quarterly targetsImplement agreed pricing, promotions, and commercial termsExecute product launches, activations, and promotions in the tradeAccount ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (owners, managers, buyers)Manage existing accounts to ensure consistent ordering, optimal ranging, and brand complianceNegotiate listings, menu placements, fridge placements, and shelf space where applicableResolve customer queries, stock issues, and service-related matters efficientlyTrade Execution & Brand PresenceEnsure correct product availability, visibility, and merchandising standardsMonitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence feedbackEnsure point-of-sale material is correctly placed and maintainedSupport brand-building initiatives in line with marketing strategyAdministration & ReportingAccurately capture orders, call cycles, and customer informationSubmit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reportsMaintain an updated customer database and pipelineTrack performance against targets and action corrective measures where requiredKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales volume and revenue growthNew account acquisitionDistribution and numeric coverageCall efficiency and route complianceBrand visibility and execution standardsEducation & ExperienceMatric (Grade 12) – essentialMinimum 1 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably beverages or bottled waterExperience working with independent trade, forecourts, and HORECA is advantageousSkills & CompetenciesStrong sales, negotiation, and closing skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilityGood planning, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage a territory effectivelyStrong numerical and reporting capabilityOther RequirementsValid South African driver’s licenseOwn reliable vehicleAbility to work flexible hours when requiredRemunerationBasic salaryPerformance-based commission / incentivesPetrol AllowanceCompany TabletCellphone & Data AllowancePlease Whatsapp for more Info.
