Purpose of the Role
The Junior Site Clerk is responsible for providing
administrative and site support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Administration & Documentation
Capture
& maintain various site records.
2. Procurement & Materials Control
Record and
reconcile & manage material deliveries with orders.
3. Health, Safety & Compliance
Assist
with maintaining site HSE documentation & ensure compliance.
4. Financial & Cost Control Support
Collect
timesheets for payroll submission.Capture
cost records.
5. Communication & Coordination
Distribute
drawings, instructions, and correspondence as directed by the Site Agent.Assist in coordinating
meetings and taking minutes when required.Point of
contact for site visitors, deliveries, and external stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong
administrative and organisational skills.Basic
understanding of construction processes and terminology.Computer
literacy.Attention
to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Good
communication skills (verbal and written).Ability to
work in a site-based, sometimes pressurised environment.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
(Matric) essential.1–2 years’
experience in an administrative role, preferably in construction Valid
