The bathroom, with toilet, basin and shower is a separate room. The flat is too small for couples or singles with children. The furniture comprises a 3/4 bed, bedside tables, and wardrobe, dressing table and chair, two-seater faux leather sofa, mat, fridge, countertop oven with 2 plate stove and kitchen cupboard. There is a communal washing machine and wash lines. So if you are married, whether living with your spouse or whether he or she only lives with you occasionally, divorced with children or weekend children, if you are engaged and want a marital home, or temporary accommodation until you can find a place, or have pets, THIS IS NOT the accommodation for you. This flat is NOT PET FRIENDLY. We love animals, and have a large dog (who digs) and two cats, but have had endless trouble with barking, digging dogs frightening my cats and tenants' cats that attack my own. We all share a yard. Keeping pets indoors while at work is not an option due to the fact that they scratch the walls and door and damage furniture. I am not negotiable on any of the things I have stated above, as I have had too many unpleasant experiences with tenants desperately promising all sorts of good things concerning partners and pets, and then it always just goes pear-shaped and gets nasty when they are confronted regarding the promises they made and haven't kept.So if after all this, you are still interested, then the rent is R4 270 per month, and an initial damage deposit of R4 270 is required before moving in. This is not negotiable. Rent includes utilities, garden service and wifi. Contactable references will also be required. The flatlet is near shops, the Baywest Mall, churches, and the N2. Off street parking (not undercover) behind a locked gate is available. It is also on the bus /taxi route. Occupation from 19th September with pro rata rental until beginning October. The current tenant moves out on the 18th September.
