Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock. Warm and crystalline clean tones. The bridge is slightly overwound for better balance.Available in either vintage braided output wire or 4 cord wire. The 4 cord wires allow you to coil split the pickup into a single coil by grounding the red and white wires via a push pull pot or a toggle switch. If you do not wish to coil split then just ignore the red and white wires (we recommend putting a piece of tape around them) and connect the BLACK wire to your switch/volume and the GREEN wire to ground. The bare wire must go to ground with the green since this will act as shielding around the 4 other wires.If you choose the braided wire option, you not only have the aesthetic look of a vintage pickup under the hood, but you can also bend the wires where you want them and they will stay in place due to it being rigid. This makes a cleaner looking electronic assembly when you open your guitar up to appreciate its inner beauty.
