About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join our team in Kimberley. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in cost management, contract administration, and project delivery within the built
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
>Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
>Administer construction contracts (NEC, JBCC, FIDIC, etc.)
>Conduct feasibility studies, cash flow forecasts, and cost planning.
>Manage project valuations, variations, and final accounts.
>Provide strategic cost advice and risk management throughout project lifecycles.
>Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
>Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
>Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
>Professional registration with SACQSP preferred.
>Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
>Strong knowledge of local construction practices, contracts, and pricing.
>Proficiency in QS software (e.g., WinQS, CCS Candy, BuildSmart).
>Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
>Valid driver’s license and own transport.
>Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Kimberley area.
