Position: Administration Clerk
Salary Level: Salary Scale (Level 5 / 6 – depending on experience)
Employment Type: Permanent / Contract
Location: Pretoria central

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following administrative functions:
Provide general administrative support to the office
Capture, update, and maintain records and databases
Handle filing (manual and electronic) and document control
Answer and direct telephone calls and inquiries
Receive, sort, and distribute correspondence
Assist with basic financial administration (invoices, requisitions, filing)
Schedule meetings and prepare meeting documents
Ensure compliance with government policies and procedures
Perform any other administrative duties as required by management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Relevant administrative qualifications will be an advantage
0–2 years administrative experience (experience is an advantage)
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ADDED ADVANTAGES:
Experience in a government or public sector environment
Knowledge of Batho Pele principles
Experience with filing systems and record management.
