Junior Payroll Administrator (Khayelitsha) (Candidates must already reside in Cape Town) Salary:Market Related (R9,500 per month) Job Type:Full-Time, On-site Do you have proven experience with SAGE 300 People and are you looking to grow your career in a dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for you! The main function of this role is to ensure the highest level of internal control and the accurate, timely processing of payroll. Key Responsibilities: · Payroll Processing: Assist in the end-to-end processing of the company payroll. · System Management: Manage and update the payroll system (SAGE 300 People) and the HRPM clocking system, including clearing exceptions and importing data. · Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with payroll laws and complete SARS interim and year-end submissions. · Record Keeping: Maintain and update payroll records, reports, and employee files. · Employee Support: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees professionally and confidentially. · Audits & Reconciliations: Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations to resolve discrepancies. · HR Administration: Process new employees, terminations, leave, union payments, and UIF documentation. Desired Experience & Qualification: · A Payroll, HR Qualification, or related field is preferred. · A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a Payroll Administration role. · Non-negotiable requirement: At least 2 years' hands-on experience using SAGE 300 People payroll software. · Sound knowledge of South African payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements (e.g., UIF, SARS submissions). · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. · Must be based in Cape Town and able to work from our office in Khayelitsha.
