To carry out services, maintenance, and repairs on all vehicles as per job card.To make sure the hourly rates on repairs and services are adhered to.To attend to breakdowns during office or after hours and do fault finding on vehicles.To visually inspect available vehicles in the depot before they leave and attend to any identified repairs.To sign off job cards, tick of service schedules, book all spares used on job card i.e.: engine oils.Manage and report on WIP.Identify and report any abuse in the prescribed format to management.To ensure parts stock holding are maintained in order to prevent vehicle down time due to part shortages.To make sure vehicles are out of gear before starting, trestles to be used when required.Regular feedback to management as required.Conduct tyre maintenance, tyre surveys and tyre breakdowns as required.To ensure a safe and clean work area and PPE to be worn at all times.

Tsitsikamma, for a Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team. We are looking for an energetic and skilled
individual who is a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic with proven
experience in maintenance and repairs of Forklifts, Bell equipment, tractors,
fire equipment, trucks and light duty vehicles.
In addition, this position may also require ordering and management of
spare parts, management of fuel usage and general housekeeping.

A busy workshop in East London is looking for a
permanent Diesel
Mechanic.
This position will require travelling to our project sites throughout the
Eastern Cape, which may include overtime and overnight travel.
Candidates must have a clear criminal record, be in
good health & be in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
Requirements:
Trade tested diesel mechanic with 8 – 10 years of (mechanical,
hydraulic, and electrical) experience. MUST INCLUDE YELLOW PLANT AND TRUCK
EXPERIENCE. Work will also include services and repairs to small plant.Must be able to overhaul engines, perform services, correctly
diagnose faults, and carry out maintenance & repairs on both trucks
and yellow plant.General working knowledge of auto electrical systems (ignition,
starting, charging, illumination).Ability to identify and correctly utilise relevant diagnostic
equipment and specialised tools (candidate to have their own basic tools).Valid drivers’ license, code 8 or above.Experienced in the operation of a variety of tools, welding
equipment, etc.Maintain work area in clean and orderly condition.Highly organised and self-motivated; working unsupervised whilst
using own initiative and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively manage time and administration related to
