Vintage Makonde Mpinga Carved African Blackwood/Ebony Sculpture.
Makonde people migrated from East African Coastal Regions of Mozambique & Tanzania taking their art with them wherever they went.
The main differences between ebony and African blackwood lie in their density, hardness, and overall ability to work with. Ebony is denser, less hard, and thus typically easier to work with than African blackwood. Ebony is also known for its tighter grain pattern, which can influence its design work and functionality.

Volume 1
Chapter XIII
The Assassination of the Austrian Crown Prince Franz Ferdinand (June 28,1914) by Gavrilo Princip who was poisoned by the doctrines of Narodna Odbrana.
My own research :
Black Hand (Crna Ruka), a Serbian patriotic society assassinated King Alexander and Queen Draga.
The Black Hand was formed by an informal group of officers on 29 May 1903.
Given that it was a secret organization and the circumstances of its creation, the real goals, membership and scope of the organization's activities are still the subject of historical controversy. The Black Hand took over the terrorist actions of Narodna Odbrana, and worked deliberately at obscuring any distinctions between the two groups, trading on the prestige and network of the older organization.
