Sodium hypochlorite is widely used in various applications. It is
used on a large scale for water and surface purification, bleaching,
odour removal, and water disinfection. Sodium hypochlorite is light
yellow with a strong bleach odour. Sodium hypochlorite is a chemical
that is produced through the mixing of caustic soda, liquid chlorine and
water.
The anhydrous compound is unstable and may decompose explosively.
Sodium Hypochlorite – 25l in solution exhibits broad-spectrum
anti-microbial activity and is widely used in healthcare facilities in a
variety of settings. It is usually diluted in water depending on its
intended use. “Strong chlorine solution” is a 0.5% solution of
hypochlorite (containing approximately 5000 ppm free chlorine) used for
disinfecting areas contaminated with body fluids, including large blood
spills.Finally it may be made by diluting household bleach as appropriate
(normally 1 part bleach to 9 parts water). Such solutions have been
demonstrated to inactivate both C. difficile and HPV. “Weak

While drying out may occur and damage the membrane permanently. To
prevent elements from freezing or being exposed to direct sunlight, we
take additional measures. Well tested elements are vacuum-sealed in a
polyethylene oxygen barrier bag containing 2012 100 GPD Membrane
Preservative and then packaged in a cardboard box. Discard the permeate
for the first twenty-four hours of operation. Do not use the first full
tank of permeate for drinking or food preparation. The permeate flow
(product water flow) varies with feed water temperature. Review a

Important Operation Notes:
