Job Requirements Requirements • ABET/ AET certificate coupled with relevant experience of working with animals and crops production. A valid driver’s licence with PDP, good communication and writing skills will be an added advantage. Duties: • Monitor water supply so that stock never go without trough water • Ensure that water is available for irrigation. • Ensure weed spraying is completed to reduce the evidence of weeds on farm. • Ensure fences are kept stock proof. . • Ensure all farm machinery, plant and vehicles are in a safe and operational condition. • Ensure working environment and facilities are clean, healthy and safe for staff clients and visitors. • Keep accurate records for Livestock weekly • Keep accurate records for Crops from Planting date to harvesting times. • Assist School of Agriculture researchers and staff and students in planning, establishing and maintaining farm research
