As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Procurement and Internal Sales departments and ensuring that all administrative functions are completed in line with requirements. You will also be required to assist with basic logistics and supply chain management, including imports and exports. In addition, you be responsible for basic financial forecasting in relation to procurement, internal sales and invoicing.
Duties will include:
Supervision of staff and in the Internal Sales and Procurement department.Handling customer queries.Handling supplier non-conformance and/or quality issues.Loading and maintaining of project orders.Creating, maintaining and management BOMs for projects.Updating and maintaining pricing.Assisting with stock discrepancies.Management of shipping requirements including imports and exports.Assist with quotations on equipment assemblies.Allocating of required stock to WIP jobs.Financial forecasting.Create and distribute packing lists.Related administration and reporting.
You will need to have matric and at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a relevant qualification. It is essential that you have working knowledge of SAGE and good Excel skills.
