An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources Practitioner to join a dynamic organisation within the food service and hospitality sector. This role is ideal for an HR generalist who enjoys partnering with operational management, driving people initiatives, and ensuring best-practice HR processes across multiple sites.This role is based in Midrand.Key Responsibilities: As the Human Resources Practitioner, you will be responsible for:Providing end-to-end HR support to operational management across multiple restaurant locations.Managing and mentoring the HR Administrator while ensuring all HR processes are completed accurately and on time.Supporting managers with employee relations, performance management, employee wellbeing, and organisational development initiatives.Coordinating recruitment, selection, onboarding, reference checks, and workforce planning.Conducting exit interviews and analysing turnover trends to improve employee retention.Advising management on Employment Equity, diversity, and transformation initiatives.Ensuring compliance with labour legislation, internal policies, and audit requirements.Representing the business in disciplinary, grievance, incapacity, and appeal hearings, as well as CCMA matters.Providing guidance on poor performance, misconduct, incapacity, ill-health, and disability cases.Assisting with payroll input verification and resolving payroll-related discrepancies.Producing HR reports and analysing people data to identify trends and support business decision-making.Promoting a high-performance culture through KPI alignment, coaching, and performance management support.Advising on remuneration benchmarking and pay-related matters in line with legislation and industry standards.Job Experience and Skills Required:National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related field.Minimum 5 years operational Human Resources experience, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, retail, or multi-site environment.Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, including the LRA, BCEA, EEA, OHSA, and SDA.Experience handling disciplinary processes, grievances, CCMA matters, and performance management.Knowledge of HR systems, HR reporting, and HR analytics.Experience partnering with operational management and building strong stakeholder relationships.Apply now! https://www.jobplacements.com/Jobs/H/Human-Resource-Practitioner-1315001-Job-Search-08-03-2026-10-16-49-AM.asp?sid=gumtree
