Mercedes Vito 116 Gear Knobs tend to break and collapse eventually on high km vehicles.

To replace: they have a cap that comes off and then a screw releases the knob

(Merc sells the whole Gear lever assembly and cables for around R7k)
Also sell the Plastic Gear lever repair kit that fixes a common problem on these Vito's where you cannot easily get into 1st or 2nd gears and possibly also reverse.
