Key Responsibilities: Staff Supervision & ManagementSupervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry staff, and cleaners.Create daily/weekly work schedules and allocate tasks efficiently.Conduct regular staff briefings, training, and performance reviews.Monitor attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies. ? Ensure daily that all housekeepers have the correct equipment and have refilled their chemical bottles correctly? Ensure daily that the scullery staff have enough chemicals, cloths, sponges and scourers? Ensure daily that the kitchen and canteen chemicals are sufficient for the day? Ensure daily that the laundry have sufficient chemicals for the day and that the washing machine and tumble dryer are clean? Assist the housekeepers in getting their linen and converters to and from the laundry / rooms daily (in morning and at turndown)? Assist the housekeepers in getting any equipment needed to their rooms? Report any lost property, maintenance and breakages noticed immediately to management.? Ensure all guest supplies are replenished in the morning and at turndowns if requested by your supervisor or manager? Ensure that the rainwater jugs in the rooms are refilled regularly? Check all lights in public areas and rooms are in working order. Replace bulbs as necessary.? Assist in getting barn or boardroom ready for any meetings or conferences daily? Try and do as much in-house maintenance, that you notice or as requested by supervisor or MOD, as possible and report to management? Check the room folders and bring to reception to get them refilled? Advise the supervisor / manager if any products have been taken by the guest? Hand in any guest questionnaires and old welcome cards to MOD.? Ensure that the Bedroom and bathroom lights are off in the day.? Assist supervisor / manager with turndowns if requested:? Ensure you know what goes into the room for stay overs and checkouts? Assist with any special romantic turndowns if requested? Ensure regular care of all housekeeping equipment? Stock levels if you notice stocks are low please advise Manager? On the day when it is barn night get instruction from Manager on how barn to be set up ensure tables and furniture are laid out correctly and that the barn is clean? Ensure all equipment is stored in the correct place at the end of the day (i.e. ladders returned to office storeroom)? Ensure all storerooms are regularly cleaned and neat and properly stocked
