A company specializing in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their team. The role involves working on projects related to pumps, water purification, and processing of liquid effluent. The position is based in the Bellville Head Office area with opportunities for travel and working on large projects. It is a permanent position with a market-related salary.
The candidate MUST possess the following credentials in order to apply - these are absolutely necessary, please only apply if you have the following:
* Must reside in Cape Town or surrounds
* Grade 12 or equivalent certification
* Trade Test/Red Seal
* Wireman's License
* 10 years of industry experience
* MUST possess motor control knowledge related to industrial pumping installations
* The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to work away from home for short to medium periods of time.
The responsibilities include installation of electrical systems, programming instrumentation, performing maintenance, fault finding, and adhering to safety policies and electrical codes. Ad-hoc duties may be assigned by the Supervisor/Management.
