We value the fact that bakeries have made a decision to order their bakeware through us in a highly competitive market, so we strive not only to deliver quality products to bakeries, but also to deliver world class service to our customers which they can trust.We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Production Manager: Manufacturing to join our dynamic team.As the Production Manager youll be responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of manufacturing production processes and resources to meet the needs of the business and to ensure effective business operations.The main function of the job will include, but are not limited to the following:ProductionOverall management, supervision and leadership of manufacturing team (production foremen, shift leaders, team leaders and operators)Development and implementation of production plans and schedules in alignment with production deadlines and customer demandDevelop labour and machine plan for each production runOversee the entire production process and ensure efficient utilization of resourcesMonitor production progress to ensure daily targets are being metManage and resolve production issues and disruptions, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely deliveryEnsure minimal rejects, overruns and wasteManage production flow (material handling, batch control)Preparation of shift sheets and route cardsManage budgets and monitor production costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving measuresEnsure that production cost is within budget as specified in the Bill of MaterialsImplement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production processAnalyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and continuously implement process optimizationsPrepare post-production reports as required by managementFacilitate routine maintenance and repairs of production equipment and machineryCollaborate with other departments to optimize workflows and improve overall plant efficiency.Manage coordination and communication between divisionsCollaborate with the Operations director to align production goals with overall business objectives.Report production performance metrics and key issues to the as required.Staff management https://www.executiveplacements.com/Jobs/P/Production-Manager-Manufacturing-Plant-1273965-Job-Search-03-20-2026-07-00-14-AM.asp?sid=gumtree
